Chinese Medicine Remedy for Colds
3 chopped scallion (the white part only)
2-3 inches of fresh ginger root
Peel of two tangerines
2 cloves of fresh garlic
3 cups of water
Add all ingredients, bring to boil, simmer for 4 minutes. Strain the tea. Drink one cup every hour. You will begin to sweat.
Recipe for Weight Loss
2 garlic cloves minced
3 teaspoons of minced ginger
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of chili powder
2 tablespoons of walnut oil
1 teaspoon or less of black pepper
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 cups of water
1 lb or eggplant peeled (if it is the small eggplant then don’t peel) Or you can cut up into small pieces celery, plum tomatoes, broccoli, green peppers, zucchini, mushrooms using a few of these ingredients for one dish and another dish some of the other vegetables.
Place the walnut oil in a pre-heated wok or large skillet, add walnut oil and heat until the oil is very hot. Add the ginger and garlic - stir fry for 10 seconds, add the vegetables and sauté, add the rest of the ingredients and then the 2 cups of water. Cover wok and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes and serve.
