Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a system of healing that originated about 3,000 years ago. Using acupuncture, herbal medicine, qi-gong, dietary and lifestyle guidance, TCM has great success in returning the body to a state of balance, alleviating symptoms of disease and restoring health. TCM is unique in its approach because it seeks to treat the cause of disease, not merely the symptoms.

Herbal medicine is the world's most ancient form of healing. About a quarter of all prescription drugs, including aspirin, are from plant sources. Chinese herbal medicine is the use of hundreds of different plant and mineral sources that can have a direct impact on your metabolic system, endocrine system, immune system and other systems which may be contributing to a pathologic state.
The medicinal part of the plant is harvested or extracted and then either dried for use in teas or made into ointments, powers, tinctures, capsules or pills. Herbs can be taken for acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, migraines, insomnia, pms, menopause, constipation emotional challenges such as anger, grief, stress, anxiety, and much, much more.
After an herbal consult you will be given a formula of herbs specifically designed to address your unique set of needs. |

Chris Ice writes: "In October I suffered from a sinus and bronchial infection. My family doctor prescribed antibiotics and several over the counter medications. I had made no progress in two weeks. Luckily, I found Dr Pearson and she gave me two types of Chinese herbs, aromatherapy and acupuncture treatments. I was well in just a few days. I would highly recommend her as a primary physician for any type of medical problem."
