If two people came in with the same exact issue's, your treatment would be different as no two people are the same.

What to expect:
Your first visit will typically last 2 hours and follow up visits 45 minutes to an hour. Our treatments are individual to each patient. We are committed to providing personalized service by listening carefully and spending the time necessary to answer your questions. We will speak with you about your history and will establish the best manner in which we can help you.
The number of treatments needed depends on the nature of the problem, and the individual's underlying health condition. Three or four treatments may be sufficient for a mild injury or an acute problem. In some instances, it could take several series of 10 -12 treatments over a period of months. Usually, change will occur after just a few treatments.

Does insurance cover acupuncture and other treatments?
Asian Healing Arts Center of Fort Lauderdale can bill most insurance. Coverage is often as high as 85%-100% of your visit.
Dr. Marji Lee Pearson is an Acupuncture Physician licensed in the state of Florida and can perform not just acupuncture but as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine her scope includes acupuncture, herbs, diet therapies and a form of traditional manual therapy called Tui Na. As a result even if your insurance does not cover acupuncture it will often still cover other modalities and the office visit.
